Three sizes of grey block paving were used for this garden patio. The work included ground preparation, a compacted foundation and the cuts needed to finish the edges around the space.

The different block sizes create a repeating pattern through the patio. The finished photographs show how the paving connects the house, lawn and timber garden structure.
Preparation beneath the surface and the finish at its edges both matter in a paving project. Here, the grey blocks and neat cuts give the patio a consistent appearance around the existing garden features.
